With extensive knowledge in Digital HR Services, Kim offers valuable insights to FTI. “My passion lies at the intersection of technology and people. I believe that digital innovation is only successful when it truly adds value for users and customers,” Kim shares.
Early in his career, Kim transitioned from being a civil engineer to working in the SaaS and digital space by joining Porthus. He later took on key roles in digital strategy at SD Worx, where he played a pivotal role in shaping the company’s digital experience approach. “I had the opportunity to build and scale the ‘mysdworx’-app, which today serves over a million users with a 4+ rating. That experience taught me the power of user-centric innovation and how digital tools can genuinely improve people’s lives. I continue to build on that experience today by guiding companies in their digital transformation journey as a partner at XPlus,” he explains.

Kim is always up for a challenge – especially when it involves the great outdoors.
What sets Kim apart is his ability to bridge the gap between business and technology while always putting the customer and user first. “I thrive on challenging the status quo and finding ways to push digital experiences to the next level. Throughout my career, I’ve always been an intrapreneur. Whether it’s business platform innovation, data-driven strategy, or ecosystem building, I believe real impact comes from collaboration and a clear focus on value creation,” he says.
Kim will use his expertise to advise on digital and data-driven strategies while contributing to the development of innovative ecosystems. “I strongly believe in a use case-driven approach and see myself as a sparring partner for digital product strategy. On top of that, my personal experience with energy dips due to long Covid has given me first-hand insights into energy management and work-life balance. That’s why I’m a huge fan of the Elli initiative and firmly believe that we can make a real difference through inspiring use cases”, Kim explains, “I’m excited to work alongside an innovative and ambitious team to drive meaningful innovation. The combination of societal relevance and FTI’s warm, pioneering spirit won me over immediately.”
Outside of work, Kim is always up for a challenge – especially when it involves the great outdoors. “I believe in pushing myself physically to grow mentally. Whether it’s hiking in the mountains with friends, mountain biking in the Ardennes, running regularly, or playing padel, I love anything that keeps me moving,” he says with a smile.
Need an icebreaker when meeting Kim for the first time? This time, you might want to take ‘breaking the ice’ quite literally as Kim thrives on ice baths and intermittent fasting to strengthen both body and mind.
At FTI, we’re gearing up for these challenges, though we might need another winter to get there.
Welcome, Kim!
